Getting an Attorney

  • Find an attorney that has experience. It is always best to get advice and help from a wiser person.
  • Ask the attorney for references. An attorney that is highly known and qualified for the job will always be more than happy to give u references. This is one of the best ways to know what kind of job they can do
  • Get recommendations from peers, family members or even people that you work with. People will always give you advice and an insight on their previous experiences with a matter like yours.
  • Ask friends about the type of fees that attorneys usually charge so that you can get an idea of what you are getting yourself into. Also, ask the attorney about their fees. It is best to know about things like these before staring the process. You want to avoid outrageous prices and fees that make no sense.
  • Make your decision upon referrals, recommendations, pricing and most important is the attorneys will to help you with your case not just to take your money.

California Lemon Law

If you have had difficulties with your car that your warranty does not cover or that you continue to get replaced several times you might qualify under the California Lemon Law. To qualify for the California Lemon law you must have a car, boat, motorcycle, computer or an electronic appliance that has continuously given you issues even after the manufacturer has tried fixing it many times. You can be refunded with cash, replacement or even a refund. This usually happens after numerous attempts at fixing the issue and it impairs the use, safety or the value of your product. Keep in mind that California always has exceptions and different rules than other states. So either you are the lucky Californian or the unlucky one that has difficulties with something else. Good luck.

Insure your car

First you have to make sure of what your state requires for you to be insured. California for example, has a minimum amount of liability coverage. So that's the first the you would need to do. Next, figure if you would like to just have a liability coverage or full coverage for your automobile. There are many options when it comes to insurance companies so call these guys and get different quotes. Don't settle for the first quote you receive (you'll thank me later.) Once you have received quotes, you can also visit a local agency to talk to someone so you can explain your necessities. Now do me a favor, compare quotes again. If you really want to make sure that you are getting a good deal, you have to put some time into this. Now that you have decided what company you want to go with, read your policy. Make sure that you have signed up for what's going to benefit you and your pocket. Last and certainly not least, always carry your proof of insurance with you wherever you go. You don't want to be the one pulled over and have a ticket issued for no proof of insurance.
